“Klub” is an art space to support representatives of creative professions (artists, photographers, curators), with an emphasis on women and strengthening their position in the contemporary art world. Since the traditional formats of art and creative projects have become a difficult task in the days when the world has come into contact with the Covid-19 pandemic and professionals in the creative field, in particular women working in the creative industry around the world, including Azerbaijan, have faced difficulties in continuing their creative activities behind closed doors, “Klub” offers the creation of new conceptual forms. This means introducing innovative technologies to promote and support the arts and moving resources to organize exhibition projects, educational programs and bring them to the audience in an online format, in order to improve the current situation for artists.
Using the tools and concepts of contemporary art, we address the constantly growing and changing problems of the world community, based on the personal experience and reflections of participants and authors. Our initiative involves organizing art projects, exhibitions, lectures, master classes, presentations, workshops, screenings, paying special attention to women working in the creative industries, while creating conditions for educating young people.
